APPRENTICE MECHANIC
Location d’outils A1, a company in business for over 58 years, is looking for stable and motivated candidates with an interest in the field of construction tools and equipment. We offer you a permanent day job, in a dynamic environment, on an annual basis with benefits and the possibility of advancement.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Perform maintenance and repairs on our equipment such as aerial work platforms, hydraulic scaffolding, forklifts, rollers, vibratory plates, loaders, excavators and others. This equipment runs on gasoline, propane, diesel and electricity (batteries).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out mechanical inspections according to the sheets provided
Preventive maintenance of equipment
Use manufacturers' service manuals properly
Possess diagnostic skills and a good understanding of the theoretical side of the problem
Carry out repairs on site if necessary
Assist mechanics in their work
Perform any other related tasks requested by his or her supervisor
Comply with all company procedures and policies
REQUIREMENTS
DEP in automotive mechanics or industrial mechanics, completed or in progress (asset)
Experience in a similar field (asset)
Valid class 5 driver's license
